Every skier knows that bogged-in-the-mud feeling. While other skiers whistle past, you poke along as though an invisible elephant sits on the tails of your boards. Whatever kind of skiing you do alpine, telemark, or cross-country when your skis feel sluggish or your sharp turns are more like controlled slides, then odds are your boards need a tune-up.
By performing simple maintenance on your skis, you'll off-load that elephant this season and get years more faithful service from your skis. Tuning can be done at home, if you have the know-how and equipment, or relatively inexpensively at a ski shop.
