The wealth of interesting geology, history, wildlife, and plants creates endless opportunities for viewing on the 23-mile Glade Top Trail. The trail traverses narrow ridgetops above the surrounding rolling countryside, and travelers are treated to numerous views that reach to the Springfield Plateau to the northwest and to Arkansas' Boston Mountains to the South. The area is also well-known for its abundance of beautiful fall color. Skyline Drive Skyline Drive on the Eleven point Ranger District is a four-mile paved loop along a ridgetop offHighway 103 south of Van Buren, Missouri. This drive offers scenic vistas of surrounding hills and river valleys. Sugar Camp Road Sugar Camp Road also offers ridge top views of Ozark scenery. Located on the Ava-CassvilleRanger District the 10-mile forest drive runs between Highway 112 near Roaring River State Parkand Highway 86 near Eagle Rock.
