East Bay Regional Park District - Web site for the administrative agency of 55 parks and 26 interpark trails covering vore than 85,000 acres in Alameda and Contra Costa counties.

Outdoors Unlimited- A cooperative center for outdoors adventure and recreation, based at the University of California San Francisco.

Bay Area Ridge Trail Council - "Imagine a 400-mile ridgeline trail connecting the Bay Area's precious greenbelt of parks and open space, linking hundreds of communities region-wide."
