Primary Wildlife: Threatened apache trout, loach minnow, Little Colorado spinedace.

Habitat: Management areas include streams and impoundments contained within the 1.4-million acres of the Fort Apache Indian Reservation. Elevations range from 3,475 meters on Mount Baldy to 1,000 meters in the Salt River Canyon.

Recreation and Education: Recreational cold and warm water fisheries. Wildlife observation, study, and photography.

Special Note: The Fort Apache Indian Reservation has the largest remaining populations of the threatened Apache trout.
