On autumn's trail |
The Golden State lives up to its name in autumn when the aspens start turning color. Camp by Davis Lake and enjoy the Upper Hilton Lakes and Turk Meadow from horseback. If you're an angler, fly fishing is peaking along with the foliage. It's harvest time in wine country, where the languid landscape goes golden and the last few clusters of grapes grow plump and juicy on the vine.
