Lake Victor
A 130-acre Commission-managed impoundment near New Hope Community off SR 2. Known primarily as a bass lake, some large trophy bass are taken annually in the spring and early summer. Although artificial worms and crankbaits are recommended, live shiners can produce some trophy fish. Bream fishing is good from mid-May to July on earthworms and crickets. Channel catfish have been stocked in the lake and can be caught on earthworms and chicken livers fished on the bottom.
