Hands in Your Pockets

Please Excuse Me

Picture yourself in an open-air market outside Cairo, enjoying the sounds and colors and, let's call them, aromas. You join a jostling crowd, fascinated by a camel auction. A man carrying a load of boxes bumps into you from behind—hard.

Luckily, a bystander is right there to keep you from falling. Of course, while he's in contact with you, his nimble fingers will lighten your own load.

Twenty minutes later when you reach for your wallet in the breast pocket of your jacket to pay for a belt you just bought—guess what? When you're in the target zone not all accidents are accidents. You never felt a thing because that helpful guy in the market, and most of his brethren throughout the world, are very, very good.
