Die-hard skiers, take heart. There's still time to indulge in your sport of choice. March tends to be the snowiest month in Colorado, providing a good base of snow for April to early May skiing at the higher resorts such as Keystone and Breckenridge. Highest of the high Arapahoe Basin may even stay open until July. Warmer air temperatures during the day make for real T-shirt and bikini skiing. Expect a spring break atmosphere at most of these resorts, with lively nightlife.
