Directions: Located 25 miles NW of Klamath Falls, Oregon, along Highway 140. Access to the refuge is by boat only. Suggested access points are the Rocky Point Resort and Malone Spring, a U.S. Forest Service recreation site. These points are along West Side Road, 2 and 6 miles respectively N of Highway 140.
Primary Wildlife: The marsh provides excellent habitat for several species of ducks, as well as white pelicans, herons, egrets and other colonial nesting birds.
Habitat: 14,917 acres of marsh and water at the north end of Upper Klamath Lake.
Recreation and Education: Wildlife observation, study, and photography. Waterfowl hunting. Boating and canoe trail. Fishing.
