St. Vincent Refuge Bream and bass fishing is excellent in the spring, but ponds are open to fishing during certain months according to U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service regulations. Best bream baits are crickets and earthworms. Bass are caught using plastic worms and live shiners. More fishing information and maps are available on request from St. Vincent Wildlife Refuge, P.O.
