Outdoor North Conway
North Conway Highlights
- The Conway Recreation Trail is an easy, family-friendly bike route that partially runs along the Saco River. Located in Conway's Smith-Eastman Recreation Area, the trail also is used by runners and walkers.
- Just east of north Conway, the 50,000-acre Green Hill Preserve is a popular hiking, biking, and nature area. Peaked Mountain, in the center of the preserve, provides habitat for several rare and endangered plants. There's a 30-foot bridge at Pudding Pond, as well as several bog bridges throughout the preserve and some new mountain bike trails to explore.
- For a full spectrum of colorful rock climbing, try Rainbow Ledge during the height of fall foliage season. The multi-colored slabs offer more than ten routes.
