This piece first had me wondering what happened to the identified route until I realized Graham drew his own. As late as yesterday, I was sitting home in the Poconos looking for available reservation dates for the trail from Tenaya Lake to Yosemite Valley to rehike the 17-mile overnight route I took decades ago with my 5-year-old daughter. She refused to let me carry her until we were on the Valley floor, didn't need a cell phone, and never reached the end of her rope.
