North Fork 25 Mile Creek Trail #1265 and #1264
Start your trip on the North Fork of 25 Mile Creek Trail #1265 at the junction with road #3900. A good place to park your vehicle is at the clearing by the switchback on road #5900. From here, start riding your bike up the dirt road about 500 ft. Unfortunately, the trail head is not clearly marked so pay close attention.
Once on the trail, the riding gets a little easier and a lot prettier as you ride up and down following the North Fork of 25 Mile Creek. The trail itself is nicely padded; it is narrow in many places, with some rock stretches here and there, and good, steep banks that keep you cautious. About 2 miles out, the trail starts climbing with a couple of tight turns to test your skill and endurance levels.
Soon you come to a junction where you take Lone Peak Trail #1264. The Lone Peak Trail continues upwards until you hit the ridge line. Once reaching the ridge line this is a good place to rest and look at the views. This is a popular place for many different types of wildlife. Continue this short section of the Lone Peak road until you join up with the dirt road #5903. From here it is a 3-mile hair-raising descent back to the truck.
