Talladega National Forest

Cheaha Wilderness

The 7,500-acre Cheaha Wilderness lies in Talladega and Clay Counties in Alabama's Talladega National Forest. Hiking, camping, hunting and fishing are all allowed in wilderness. Motorized vehicles and bicycles are prohibited. Visitors are encouraged to obtain a Cheaha Wilderness Map at the Shoal Creek District Office or the Talladega District Office.
