Directions
To San Luis NWR, From Los Banos, CA-165 (North Mercey Springs Road) north 8 miles to Wolfsen Road, east (right) on Wolfsen Road 2 miles to refuge and both tour routes. To Merced NWR, From Los Banos, CA 152 east 18 miles to CA-59, north (left) 7 miles to Sandy Mush Road, west (left) 8 miles to refuge and tour route. To the Kesterson unit, from Los Banos CA-165 north to CA-140, west (left) 7 miles to refuge parking. Travel within the Kesterson unit is by foot only. No public facilities are at San Joaquin River NWR.
