  • Respect the life and work of the countryside
  • Protect wildlife plants and trees
  • Keep to public paths across farmland
  • Safeguard water supplie
  • Go carefully on country roads
  • Keep dogs under control
  • Guard against all risks of fire
  • Fasten all gates
  • Leave no litter take it with you
  • Make no unnecessary noise
  • Leave livestock, crops, and machinery alone
  • Use gates and stiles to cross fences, hedges and walls.
