Olympic National Forest

Hiking

The Olympic National Forest contains some of the most awe-inspiring scenery in America. Giant trees, rugged mountains, rushing rivers, cascading waterfalls, lush rainforests and panoramic vistas await the visitor. Hiking trails provide opportunities to experience firsthand the many splendors of the Olympic.

Many of these treks are relatively short, taking less than four hours to complete. The hikes vary in difficulty from easy to more difficult. Hikes are on developed trails, but sturdy walking shoes are advised, since some portions of the trails may be rough.
