Getting There Sunrise: East on SR 410 from Enumclaw to the White River Entrance, White River, and the Sunrise turnoff (summer only).
From Yakima to:
Sunrise: East on SR 410 then north on SR 123 to the White River Entrance, White River, and the Sunrise turnoff (summer only).
From Portland to:
Public Transportation
Amtrak trains stop in Seattle, Tacoma, Centralia, and Portland on north-south routes and Seattle, East Auburn, Ellensburg, and Yakima on east-west routes. Greyhound/Trailways provides bus service to the major cities and towns in the area. Visitor Centers

Camping and Lodging
National Park Inn: Located near Longmire, open year-round.
Paradise Inn: Located near Paradise, open May through early October. Outside of the park, there are multiple places to stay. Depending on which area of the park you're heading for and when, it may be wise to plan ahead of time. The park's Web site has a good list of accomodations divided by area that may be useful in planning your trip.
