1. Triangle X Ranch, Grand Teton National Park, Wyoming
Triangle X, the only operating dude ranch in a national park, includes all of the buildings you would expect in a working ranch plus 20 freestanding log or wood-frame cabins that provide guest accommodations. The ranch sits on a hill overlooking Jackson Hole and the scenic Teton Mountain Range. A week's stay, beginning each Sunday, is required during peak season of June through August. A horse is assigned to each guest for the length of his or her stay. Meals are served family style and are included in the price of a cabin. Season: late May to the first week of November, and December 26 to mid-March; Rates: Vary depending on season and number of people in a cabin. Two adults in a small cabin are $1,500 per person during peak season. Rates and minimum-stay requirements are reduced during winter.
