Hells Canyon National Recreation Area

Location

Hells Canyon National Recreation Area is located in the northeastern region of the Blue Mountains in northeastern Oregon.

Driving Directions

From La Grande, follow Hwy. 82 for 65 miles to Enterprise, go straight for five miles to the middle of Joseph, and turn left for 30 paved miles to Imnaha. To find Hat Point, go straight for 24 miles on a gravel road to the road's end at the Hat Point lookout tower.
