Good, but ungroomed, trails at Stemple Pass on the Lincoln Ranger District and MacDonald Pass on the Helena Ranger District.

Snowmobiling
Approximately 220 miles of trails, including popular routes near Lincoln on the Lincoln Ranger District, at the Marysville-Austin and Rimini-Elliston-Basin trail system on the Helena Ranger District, and at the Magpie Area west of Canyon Ferry Lake on the Townsend Ranger District.
