Appekunny Falls
Good views of Natahki Lake
Trailhead: Appekunny Falls Trailhead, 1 mile east of the Many Glacier Hotel.
Distance: 1.0 mile
Level: Moderate
Altitude change: Climbs 700 feet

Cracker Lake
Not-too-tough climb to a large meadow filled with wildflowers and a turquoise-colored lake
Trailhead: Cracker Lake Trailhead, south end of the Many Glacier Hotel parking area.
Distance: 6.1 miles
Level: Moderate
Altitude change: Climbs 1400 feet

Grinnell Glacier
For glacier lovers. Great alpine hike to overlooks above Grinnell Glacier.
Trailhead: Grinnell Glacier Trailhead at the Many Glacier Picnic area or the south end of the Many Glacier Hotel.
Distance: 5.5 miles or 3.8 miles via boat & hike. Boats leave from the Many Glacier Hotel boat dock.
Level: Moderate
Altitude change: Climbs 1600 feet

Grinnell Lake
Gentle, diverse hike to exquisite glacial lake.
Trailhead: Grinnell Glacier Trailhead at the Many Glacier Picnic area or the south end of the Many Glacier Hotel.
Distance: 3.4 miles or 0.9 miles via boat & hike. Boats leave from the Many Glacier Hotel boat dock.
Level: Easy
Altitude change: Climbs 60 feet

Iceberg Lake
Brilliant wildflowers and one of the most dramatic alpine lakes in the park.
Trailhead: Swiftcurrent Motor Lodge
Distance: 4.5 miles
Level: Moderate
Altitude change: 1,194 feet

Ptramigan Tunnel
Breathtaking views on the way to Belly River country. Passes through a tunnel blasted through solid rock in 1931.
Trailhead: Iceberg/Ptarmigan Trailhead behind the Swiftcurrent Motor Inn cabin area.
Distance: 5.2 miles
Level: Moderately strenuous
Altitude change: Climbs 2300 feet

Swiftcurrent Nature Trail
Pleasant stroll with interesting interpretation.
Trailhead: Grinnell Glacier Trailhead at the Many Glacier Picnic Area or the south end of the Many Glacier Hotel.
Distance: 2.4 mile loop trail
Level: Easy
Altitude change: Level trail

Swiftcurrent Pass
Through Swiftcurrent Valley past a chain of lakes, then a steep hike up the Continental Divide. Easiest if taken from west to east.
Trailhead: Swiftcurrent Pass Trailhead at the west end of the Swiftcurrent Motor Inn parking area.
Distance: 6.6 miles
Level: Strenuous
Altitude change: Climbs 2300 feet

The North Circle
Great way to ramble the remote Belly River country. Ends up in the Fifty Mountain area. Incorporates parts of Ptarmigan Tunnel, Iceberg Lake, Belly River, Stoney Indian Pass and Waterton Valley trails.
Trailhead: Swiftcurrent
Distance: Allow 5 days
Level: Strenuous
