Hiking - Two Medicine Area Trails

Cobalt Lake-Two Medicine Pass
Varied hike to aptly named lake.
Trailhead: West end of Two Medicine boat dock parking lot.
Distance: 4.4 miles
Level: Moderate
Altitude change: 1,400 feet.

Upper Two Medicine Lake
Good family hike.On the way to a lake set among red argillite peaks, you'll go by Twin Falls, a double waterfall.
Trailhead: Two Medicine north shore trailhead.
Distance: 5 miles
Level: Easy
Altitude change: 300 feet

Dason-Pitamakan
A wonderfully diverse trail that climbs to the Continental Divide then explores the Dry Fork drainage.
Trailhead: Two Medicine north shore trailhead.
Distance: 16.3 miles.
Level: Moderately strenuous
Altitude change: Climb and descend 2,935 feet

Cutbank Creek
Idyllic hike through isolated valley, then climbing steeply to Pitamakan Pass.
Trailhead: Cutbank Creek Road backcountry parking lot
Distance: 9.8 miles
Level: Moderately strenuous
Altitude change: Climbs 3155 feet

Medicine Grizzly Lake-Triple Divide Pass
Goes by Triple Divide Peak - depending on which side of the peak water falls, it will flow to the Pacific, Atlantic or Arctic ocean. Lots of wildlife.
Trailhead: Cutbank Ranger Station
Distance: 7.2 miles
Level: Moderate
Altitude change: 2920 feet

Scenic Point
Also aptly named. On a clear day, you can see 100 miles to Sweetgrass Hills.
Trailhead: Marked trailhead on Two Medicine Road, 11. 5 miles from Montana Highway 49 junction.
Distance: 10 miles
Level: Moderately strenuous
Altitude change: 2,242 feet.
