Justice Park (Scout Mountain) - A recreation area located 12 miles south of Pocatello. Includes a campground, picnic area, nature trail, summer homes, amphitheater, an organization campsite and a special use archery range.
Pebble Creek Ski Area - Located 17 miles southeast of Pocatello near Bonneville Peak. The ski area has 3 chairlifts and 2,000 vertical feet of runs.
Ponderosa Pine Plantation - Along the South Fork of Mink Creek. An introduced stand of Ponderosa Pine that was planted in the 1930's is now reproducing naturally. This area is a favorite undeveloped campsite for many recreationists.
Cherry Spring Nature Area - Located 5 miles southeast of Pocatello. A riparian nature study area with a nature trail. Over 140 species of birds have been identified at Cherry Springs.
