The dramatic feature of this spot is the 250-foot-long cliff wall that bisects the river bed. The water is deep all along the base of the wall. There are a small falls and a fish ladder near the far end of the wall. The bank consists of large pebbles and small boulders.

Driving Instructions

Salmon Falls Park is 35.8 miles east of Salem. Follow the driving instructions for Swimming Hole #133 to the recreation area turnoff. Turn left and drive to the park, 13.9 miles, on the right.

Hiking Instructions

From the parking area hike an easy trail down to the water, 380 feet.
