Porcupine Lake Wilderness
Located in the Chequamegon National Forest in Wisconsin.
The Porcupine Lake Wilderness was designated as such in 1984 and encompasses nearly 4,450 acres of the Chequamegon National Forest. Left to the forces of nature, this area provides outstanding opportunities for solitude. Traveling here you will find a primitive, unconfined type of recreation in addition to the standard wilderness fare.
