This national forest offers more than 4,000 miles of fishing streams and 1,600 acres of stillwater fishing. Also, forest land borders two large Army Corps of Engineers’ lakes.

The Bear Creek trail complex offers 45 miles of paths spread over four loops. You’ll travel amid woods broken by views, including the vista from Powell Mountain tower site. Base out of Bear Creek Horse Camp.
