Moapa Valley National Wildlife Refuge
Directions: Located approximately 60 miles NE of Las Vegas. Travel N on Interstate 15, 50 miles to the Moapa exit, then N on State Route 169 approximately 5 miles to Warm Springs Road. Continue W on Warm Springs Road 2.5 miles.
Primary Wildlife: Endangered Moapa dace
Habitat: 34 acres of Mohave desert, palm trees, spring heads, and associated outflow channels and aquatic habitat
Recreation and Education: Wildlife observation
Special Note: The refuge is newly established and development is not complete.
