Marble Bluff Fish Facilities
Directions: About 1 mile N of Nixon on State Route 447. Located on Pyramid Lake Indian Reservation.
Primary Wildlife: The fishway is operated to allow the migration of the endangered cui-ui sucker and the threatened Lahontan cutthroat trout from Pyramid Lake to spawning areas in the Truckee River.
Recreation and Education: The fishway and fish handling building are open Monday through Friday 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Fish runs can be observed during March, April, and May. Environmental education tours are available by reservation. Sorting of the cui-ui sucker and cutthroat trout can be observed. Call for information about times.
