White River
Missouri Pass is accessible by foot on forest service trail #2003 in the Holy Cross Wilderness Area. It divides the waters of Cross Creek to the north and Missouri Creek to the south.
The high-country Missouri lakes (there are fourteen) make a trip into Missouri Pass a worthwhile destination. The pass is north and above the highest lake, up the wall of the basin. Making a loop trip with other passes would provide a good outing. Be sure to visit the old Holy Cross City site.
Missouri Pass is not named on forest service or topo maps. It is named on the Trails Illustrated maps.
