Located in the Siskiyou National Forest in Oregon.

The 17,200-acre Grassy Knob Wilderness is located in the northern part of the Siskiyou Forest. Elevation in the wilderness ranges from 2,000 to 3,000 feet. The terrain is extremely steep, rugged and forested. Thick brush limits access to the area. A few rocky bluffs provide openings with panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean. A short five-mile hiking trail is the only established trail in the area. The wilderness contains mixed stands of old-growth forest that include Port-Orford Cedar and Douglas Fir.
