Fundy National Park Travel Tips
- Observe the highest tides in the world and walk on the ocean floor at Fundy National Park. The park's famous Beach Crawl, hosted at low tide, is a guided tour on the seafloor exploring the intertidal zone. Wear old sneakers or boots you don't mind getting wet.
- Hike the park's two dozen trails, many of which lead to waterfalls. For Fundy's variable weather, come with a windbreaker, raingear, and footwear with good traction.
- Join a sea-kayaking tour to see the park's stunning coastline. Park rangers offer interpretive programs from late June until Labor Day.
- Located on the Atlantic migration flyway, the park is host to spectacular bird migrations—250 species—in the spring and fall.
- The park's main Visitor Centre in Alma has a handful of exhibits on wildlife and tides, a video presentation, bookstore, and brochures on outfitters offering horseback, sea-kayak, sailboat, whale-watching, and wildlife excursions.
- Mountain bike on one of the six trails that allow it: Goose River, Marven Lake, Black Hole, Bennett Brook (up to the Point Wolfe valley), East Branch, and Maple Grove. Goose River and Marven Lake start with steep climbs.
