Entiat National Fish Hatchery
Directions: Located about 25 miles N of Wenatchee and 25 miles S of Lake Chelan. Turn W from U S. Highway 97 1 mile S of the town of Entiat, and go 5 1/2 miles to signs that direct to the hatchery.
Primary Wildlife: 800,000 chinook salmon are raised annually and released to migrate to the ocean.
Recreation and Education: The hatchery is open from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. The best time to visit is late summer and early fall when adult fish are spawning.
