Cedar Bench Wilderness

Located in the Prescott National Forest in Arizona.

Located along a broad northwest-southeast trending ridge, the 14,950 acres that comprise the Cedar Bench Wilderness occupy the dividing line between the Verde and Agua Fria drainages. Elevations range between 4,500 feet and 6,700 feet with the principal vegetative cover being chaparral with lesser amounts of pinion pine and Utah juniper. The Verde Wild and Scenic River forms a portion of the eastern boundary of the Cedar Bench Wildness.
