Chanchelulla Wilderness

Located in the Shasta-Trinity National Forest in California.

The Chanchelulla comprises 8,200 acres in the Shasta-Trinity National Forest. Chanchelulla Peak is the highest point in the wilderness at 6,400 feet elevation. Up to 70 percent slopes can be found in some areas of the wilderness. Vegetation in the wilderness is mostly brush fields on southern slopes and mixed conifers on north slopes.
