Located in the Ozark-St. Francis National Forest in Arkansas.

This wilderness area contains 10,777 acres located in Pope County, Arkansas. The fork is fed by Bear Hollow, Mill Creek, and Scyamore Creek. The area is characterized by typical Ozark hills that rise 800 to 1,600 feet above sea level and hollows, some with sheer sandstone walls. The area is bounded on the west by Arkansas Highway 27, on the north by Forest Service Road 1301 and the east by Forest ServiceRoad 1302.

Parking and primitive camping are available in this area. Four parking lots provide access to three trails that follow the remains of old roads, left by early inhabitants.

Directions: From Interstate 40 in Atkins, take State Highway 105 north. Highway 105 turns into Scenic Highway 27 and borders part of the western edge of the Wilderness. Follow it to a parking lot/trailhead about 5 miles north of the interstate.
