Directions: Located adjacent to the Columbia River just E of Beacon Rock State Park (approximately 20 miles E of Washougal, Washington) on Washington State Highway 14.

Primary Wildlife: Canada geese and other waterfowl. A wide variety of upland birds, mammals, and other wildlife. One of last remaining chum salmon nuns on the Columbia River.

Habitat: 329 acres of river bottomland with riparian vegetation, open pasture, and wooded areas.

Recreation and Education: Pierce NWR is currently closed to all public use except as permitted by Special Use Permit. The refuge can be viewed from the trail to the top of Beacon Rock.

Special Note: Office hours are from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Refuge personnel not always in the office.
