Directions: Located immediately N of Bandon between the Coquille River and U.S. Highway 101.

Primary Wildlife: Resting and feeding area for shorebirds, wading birds, raptors, and waterfowl.

Habitat: 289 acres of undisturbed salt marsh, mudflat, and beach-grass communities.

Recreation and Education: Wildlife observation, study, and photography.

Local Resources - Shoreline Education for Awareness Inc. (SEA Inc.) - SEA Inc. is an all-volunteer 501(C)(3) non-profit whose mission is in its name: to increase awareness of the shoreline through education. Among the interpretive services offered is meeting visitors to Bandon Marsh NWR, showing them legal routes of access and providing the use of spotting scopes to more adequately observe any wildlife present.
