Directions: From I 40 in Vian, exit on county road (first two miles are paved: last mile is gravel) and drive S three miles.

Primary Wildlife: Migratory waterfowl (in migration and wintering), nesting interior least tern, bald eagle.

Habitat: Intermixed farm crops, wetland, bottomland hardwood, and open lake.

Recreation and Education: Hiking, auto tour loop, wildlife observation and study, photography, fishing, and hunting.

Special Note: Area lies on the Arkansas River Navigation Channel.
