Brookville Lake
A 5,260-acre lake located 1 1/2 miles NE of Brookville, on IN 101.
Cagles Mill Lake
The lake features the largest waterfall in the state, a rock cut showing a number of geologic ages, native hardwood trees, a state park, and a nearby covered bridge. From Terre Haute, 30 miles E on I-70,5 miles S on IN 243.
Cannelton Lock & Dam
Provides a usable pool for commercial boat traffic on the Ohio, and is popular with recreational boaters. On IN 66, 1 mile E of Cannelton.
Cecil M. Harden Lake

Falls of the Ohio Wildlife Conservation Area (WCA)
The only Wildlife Conservation Area designated by Congress and managed by the Corps. The site is world-renowned for extensive Devonian period fossil beds. Bird watching is popular in both the spring and fall, as more than 245 species of birds have been recorded here. From Louisville, KY, N across the Ohio River on I-65 to Clarksville, IN, take Exit 0, W on Riverside Drive.
Huntington Lake
A quiet recreation area on the Wabash River in north central Indiana, S of Huntington on IN 5.
Mississinewa Lake
In an area rich in Indian history, the lake includes both State and Corps managed recreation areas. From Peru, S on IN 21, E on IN 400, N on Rt. 550.
Monroe Lake
Indiana's largest lake, near the Indiana University campus, features a scenic stone-bluffed shoreline and wooded hills. From IN 37, exit at Smithville Road or Harrodsburg exit, S of Bloomington; or E on IN 46, S on IN 446.
Newburgh Lock & Dam
One of the projects essential in maintaining the Ohio River navigational channel. Located on IN 66, 2 miles E of Newburgh.
Patoka Lake
An 8,800 acre lake located within the Hoosier National Forest Purchase Area. The major recreation area is W of the intersection of IN 64 and 145.
Salamonie Lake
Attractions include Hanging Rock, 2 miles downstream from the dam, and Old Canal Locks at Lagro. From Wabash, S on IN 15, E on IN 124, N on I N 105 to Lost Bridge recreation sites.
Uniontown Lock & Dam
Provides a navigational pool for commercial and recreation boat traffic on the Ohio. Access road intersects with IN 69 near Hovey Lake, 10 miles S of Mt. Vernon.
