Albeni Falls Dam (Pend Oreille Lake)
Forests and mountains, clear water, sandy beaches and excellent trout fishing are a few of the many attractions of this large lake. From Spokane, WA, 50 miles NE on US 2.
Dworshak Dam and Reservoir
At a height of 717 ft, one of the highest dams in the Nation, as well as one of the most dramatic in appearance. Lewis and Clark camped in this area in 1805. The Dworshak National Fish Hatchery is the largest steelhead trout hatchery in the world. From Lewiston, 45 miles E on US 12.
Lower Granite Lock and Dam -- Washington or
Idaho
A marina and launching ramps are available at this project on the Snake River. From Pomeroy, 20 miles NE (follow signs).
Lucky Peak Lake
On the state highway route which connects the city of Boise and the Sawtooth National Recreation Area, the project provides developed and primitive recreation sites in the scenic mountains of southeastern Idaho. From Boise, 10 miles SE on ID 21.
