Getting There
FROM SEATTLE AND TACOMA TO:
Paradise: South on SR 7 then east on SR 706 through Elbe and Ashford to the Nisqually Entrance, Longmire and Paradise.
Sunrise: East on SR 410 from Enumclaw to the White River Entrance,
White River, and the Sunrise turnoff (summer only).
FROM YAKIMA TO:
Paradise: East on US 12 then north to SR 123 to the Ohanapecosh
Entrance. Follow SR706 to Paradise.
Sunrise: East on SR 410 then north on SR 123 to the White River
Entrance, White River and the Sunrise turnoff (summer only).
FROM PORTLAND TO:
Paradise: North on Interstate 5, east on US 12, north on SR 7 then east
on SR 706 to the Nisqually Entrance, Longmire and Paradise.
Sunrise: North on Interstate 5, east on US 12 then north on SR 123 to
the Ohanapecosh Entrance, White River and the Sunrise turnoff (summer only).
PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION:
There is no regularly scheduled public transportation to the park. International airports are located in Portland and Seattle/Tacoma.
Amtrak trains stop in Seattle, Tacoma, Centralia and Portland on north-south routes and Seattle, East Auburn, Ellensburg, and Yakima on east-west routes.
Greyhound/Trailways provides bus service to the major cities and towns in the area.
Visitor Centers
Longmire Museum

Located just inside the park beyond the Nisqually Entrance, this center offers general information and exhibits and serves as the park's welcoming center.
Henry M. Jackson Memorial Visitor Center
Located near Paradise Meadows, this is the park's main visitor center, offering exhibits, films, and desk information.
Ohanapecosh Visitor Center

Located off Wash. 123 in the southeast corner of the park near the Stevens Canyon Entrance, this is primarily an interpretation center for old growth forest.
Sunrise Visitor Center

Located off Wash. 410, past the White River Entrance in the northeast section of the park, this is primarily an interpretive center for the park's subalpine ecology.
Camping and Lodging
National Park Inn: Located near Longmire, open year-round.

Outside of the Park, there are multiple places to stay. Depending on which area of the Park you're heading for and when, it may be wise to plan ahead of time. The park's website has a good list of accomodations divided by area that may be useful in planning your trip.
