Old Wagon Trail

Hike along the old wagon trail, the main route 100 years ago to the town of Grover. This is a strenuous day hike that follows the old wagon route on Miners Mountain. The hiking trail is on the Moenkopi Formation and will give you constant panoramic views of the escarpment of the Waterpocket Fold.

Trailhead:Between Grand Wash and Capitol Gorge on the Scenic Drive, approximately 6 miles south of the Visitor Center.

Distance: 3.5 miles round trip loop hike.

Note: If you are hiking in the summer, take water with you and wear a hat.
