Naturalist Programs

Guided hikes are offered seasonally in the park. These hikes vary in difficulty. Check the posted activities listed on park bulletin boards for details. Be prepared for your hike by having the proper equipment and field guides, and your experience will be much more enjoyable.

Evening programs are presented each night at sunset from late spring through early fall at the Pine Springs Campground Amphitheater. Programs cover subjects in the natural and cultural histories of the Guadalupe Mountains and region. During foul weather, programs are hold in the Headquarters Visitor Center theater. Other special ranger-led events occur during the year. All programs and events are posted on park bulletin boards for your information.
