Hidden Lake
One of the quickest access routes to Glacier high country. Good view of distinctive Bearhat Mountain

Altitude change: Climb 550 feet. Descend 675 feet

The Garden Wall
Popular, level hike along west face of the Continental Divide. Excellent wildlife viewing.
Trailhead: Logan Pass, across highway from Visitors Center
Distance: 11.6 miles
Level: Easy
Altitude change: Gain 830 feet. Lose 3,026 feet

The Northern Highline
Entirely in the subalpine region. Dramatic views all the way.
Trailhead: Granite Park Chalet
Distance: 11.9 miles
Level: Moderate
Altitude change: 1,910 feet gain. 1,780 loss

Waterton Valley
Easy stroll through valley floor, then earnest climb to one of the best views in the park.
Trailhead: Goat Haunt ranger station
Distance: 10.5 miles
Level: Strenuous
Altitude change: Gain 2,480 feet
