Here are four great backpacks in Glacier, ranging from 3 to 10 days. For detailed trail descriptions, see Eric Molvar's Rambling the Rockies of Glacier.

The Continental Divide National Scenic Trail
A great way to taste most of Glacier's many environments as you follow the Continental Divide south from the Canadian border
Trailhead: Marias Pass, on U.S. Highway 2
Distance: Allow 10 days
Level: Strenuous
More Details: See Rambling the Rockies of Glacier.

The Great Northern Traverse
Runs from Kintla Lake to Chief Mountain customs. Takes in parts of the Boulder Pass, Waterton Lake, Stoney Indian Pass and Belly River trails through some of the wildest regions of the park.
Trailhead: Kintla Lake
Distance: Allow 6 days
Level: Strenuous
More Details: See Rambling the Rockies of Glacier.

The Highline Trail
An easier way than most to explore the high country on the east side of the Continental Divide. Runs below crest of Garden Wall for part of the way.
Trailhead: Logan Pass
Distance: 3 days
Level: Moderate
More Details: See Rambling the Rockies of Glacier.

The North Circle
Great way to ramble the remote Belly River country. Ends up in the Fifty Mountain area. Incorporates parts of Ptarmigan Tunnel, Iceberg Lake, Belly River, Stoney Indian Pass and Waterton Valley trails.
Trailhead: Swiftcurrent
Distance: Allow 5 days
Level: Strenuous
More Details: See Rambling the Rockies of Glacier.
