The Roubideau Trail begins at 25 Mesa Ranger Station and winds south 30 miles to connect to the Transfer Road on the Eastern Rim of Roubideau Canyon. The southern 5 miles is the most popular section for recreation. Most use occurs during big game season.
From Access #1 on Transfer Road, the trail follows an old four wheel drive road to Roubideau Creek. Grades and layout are good except for a steep 1/2 mile section from the junction with Pool Creek Trail west. Total travel time is four mins. Best camp locations are along Roubideau and Pool Creeks and at the lower end of Goddard Creek.
