Access: The Trailhead is located at the McGuire boat ramp on the north side of French Meadows campground.

Trail Description: The trail winds through timber and follows the north shore of French Meadows Reservoir, climbing moderately to the top of Red Star Ridge. This short trail offers scenic views of French Meadows area and is easy enough to be enjoyed by the entire family.
