Hiking - Arrowhead District Trails

Pacific Crest National Scenic Trail PC2000 - 40 miles; moderately difficult. May be accessed from various points on the District.

Hawes Peak Trail 2WO8/2WO3 - 4.5 miles; moderate. begins on 2WO8, 1/4 mi. no. east of Tent Peg campground on 3N34. Travel 1.3 mi. to Pacific Crest Trail. Follow PCT 1/4 mi. to 2WO3, go north 2.3 miles. Trail ends at yellow post site, on 3N41 (Big Bear Dist).

Fisherman's Camp Trail 2WO7 - 2.5 miles; moderately difficult. begins 1.3 miles west of Crab Flats campground on FS road 3N34, ends at Deep Creek.

Seeley Creek Trail 4WO7 - 1 mile; easy walk. Begins 1/4 mile south of Camp Seeley entrance (Hwy. 138) on FS road 2NO3.

Hot Springs Trail 3WO2 - 1.5 miles; difficult. begins 1 mile south of Bowen Ranch near Hesperia.

North Shore Recreation Trail 3W12 - 1.7 miles; moderately difficult. begins at North Shore campground on Hospital Road in Lake Arrowhead.

Little Green Valley Trail 2W10 - 1.5 miles; difficult. begins on Hwy. 18, across from Snow Valley.

Heaps Peak Arboretum Trail 3W`05 - .7 miles; easy walk. begins 2 miles east of Skyforest on Hwy. 18.

Trail of the Phoenix 2W`09 - .5 miles; easy walk. begins at the entrance of the Children's Forest on Keller Peak Road.

Indian Rock Trail 3W15 - .5 miles; easy walk. begins at the Rock Camp Fire Station on Hwy. 173.

Pinnacles Trail 3W16 - 3.5 miles; difficult. Begins at the entrance to the Rifle Range on Hwy. 173, north of Rock Camp.

Tunnel II Trail 3W19 - 1 mile; easy trail. Begins at FS road 2N34. Take Grass Valley Rd. to Clubhouse. Follow Clubhouse to Fairway. Continue on Fairway, turning right on Brentwood. Turn left on Sonoma to 2N34. Follow to trailhead.
