Directions: Taconic State Parkway to Route 301, west to Route 9D, 2 miles south of Beacon.

Seasons/Hours: Bow hunting for deer is permitted in season.

Pets: Household pets only; caged or on a leash not more than 10 feet long.

Hudson Highlands State Park, is an undeveloped preserve, and offers a fishing and boating area. The park has 25 miles of hiking trails, including mountaintop trails with awesome views of the Hudson and the Hudson Highland Range. The Appalachian Trail runs through Hudson Highland State Park.
